Based in Petaluma, California, Sonoma Spice Queen was started by spice enthusiast and culinary adventurer, Wind McAlister. Through her love of cooking and cultural exploration, she brings you hand-crafted organic spice mixes and rubs.

We use only non irradiated ingredients with no fillers such as gluten or MSG. We do not use salt or sugar in our mixes. All packaging is produced in USA and is 100% recyclable.

Although Sonya & Company Hair was established and began doing business in 2012, Proprietor Sonya Marie Karr has been working in the historic McNear Building lower quarters for over 12 years, previously with Tina's Underground.

As a hair professional and color specialist for over 3 decades, Sonya enjoys a diverse and eclectic clientele, some loyal for over 25 years.

The shop is as unique and inviting as Sonya herself, who works with each client in an embracing and engaging way to achieve a look that is not only beautiful, but inspires confidence. New to services, residing hair stylist, Linda, will be offering eye lash extensions.

Each item embodies the principles of our founder, Emily Lynch, an interior designer and mother of two girls, who passionately advocates for integrating beauty and serenity into everyday life. Our commitment stems from the belief that by infusing daily routines with elements of beauty and tranquility, we foster a more purposeful and fulfilling existence. Inspired by the timeless adage, "Mighty oaks from little acorns grow," our store's name reflects the transformative power found in small beginnings. With pride, Acorn operates two stores in Sonoma County: one in The Barlow in Sebastopol, which opened in November of 2022 and one in historic Downtown Petaluma, which opened in August of 2024.
